As a BDM you will focus on bringing in new business as well as managing our loyal and committed client relationships delivering a range of solutions from our product and services portfolio.
We will invest in you, providing a comprehensive development plan, on the job training and support from an experienced media team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify new clients and work with them to create targeted marketing campaigns
- Create meaningful, long term relationships with existing clients and work consultatively to support their marketing initiativesWork to achieve predefined monthly and annual sales targetsCreate and accurately maintain the sales pipeline in the CRM
- Focus on forward planning and be able to manage your time
- Willingness to identify and attend regular client meetings (nationally and internationally) to establish and maintain strong relationships
- Attend industry events to meet and network with your clients (national and international)
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure the smooth running of your client portfolio.
- Salesforce and client information must be kept up to date and maintained at all times.
Required Qualifications Knowledge Abilities & Experience:
You will be responsible for customers at the heart of everything they do by demonstrating a genuine interest in their business, needs and aspirations.
- Media sales experience for example local/national press,consumer, digital, B2B etc.
- Exceptional and consistent track record in sales
- Strong communication skills, with a natural flair for conversation
- A professional manner both on the telephone and face to face
- A passion for sales, attention to detail, and customer service
- The ability to work to targets
- Effective time management
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- An openness to feedback and confidence working with others
- Experience of using Salesforce or similar CRM, Google G-Suite and/or Microsoft Office. Good standard of education is essential (degree level desirable) but it is not essential.
